HELP on status
SYNTAX: status [channel]

LEVEL 50

HELP on kick
SYNTAX: kick [channel] <nick|pattern> [reason]
This command kicks nick or any user matching the given match pattern. If a
reason is supplied, it will be used as kick comment.

Example:
/msg Z kick #test wabit [witty kick message]
/msg Z kick #test wa* [witty kick message] (Would kick anyone with a
nickname starting with WA)

HELP on topic
SYNTAX: topic [channel] <new topic>

Example:
/msg Z topic #test [witty topic] (Would change the topic in #test to
"(WaBit) [Witty Topic]")

LEVEL 75

HELP on ban
SYNTAX: ban [channel] <nick|n!u@h> [duration] [level] [reason]
ban adds an entry to the 'banlist'. If channel is supplied, it is used
instead of the current channel. duration specifies how long the entry
should remain in the list (in hours). level is an integer ranging from 0 to
your access level on the channel. reason is not mandatory and can be up to
80 characters long. The effect of this command depends on the level
supplied:

     >= 20 - user is not allowed to be chanop.
     >= 75 - user is not allowed to be on the channel at all.

Intermediate levels are used internally to manage warnings.

Example:
/msg Z ban #test wabit 1 100 [witty reason] (Would kick and ban Wabit from
channel #test with a the reason indicated.)
/msg Z ban #test *!*@dialup2-08.camtech.net.au 1 100 [witty reason] (Would
place a dialup ban.)
/msg Z deop #test wabit (Would deop or take away @ or channel operators
privledges from wabit, in channel #test)

LEVEL 100

HELP on invite
SYNTAX: invite [#channel] <nick>
invite makes Z invite nick to #channel for you. This is useful on
invite-only channels. For example, you can do

     /msg Z invite #mychan mynick

to make Z invite you to your channel.

Example:
/msg Z invite #test wabit (Would result in: *** Z (zed@dead.oz.org) invites
you to join #test)

HELP on op
SYNTAX: op [channel] <nick1> [nick2] [nick3] [...]
op gives operator privileges to the specified users. Note that this command
is disabled when the channel is in NoOp mode (SEE help set for more
information).

Example:
/msg Z op #test wabit (Would op give @ or channel operators privledges to
wabit, in channel #test)

HELP on suspend
SYNTAX: suspend [channel] <nick|address> <duration> [s|m|h|d]
The command suspend is used to remove one's access to this service for a
certain time specified with the duration argument. Time units can be
specified for duration (seconds, minutes, hours or days).
When a user is suspended he or she cannot use any command requiring an
access level greater than zero. One can only suspend a user who has an
inferior access than theirs.

Example:
/msg Z suspend #test wabit 1 s (Would suspend wabit's Z access in #test's Z
for 1 second. As indicated in the instructions, you indicate the length of
the ban, and then a space, and the unit of measurement (S, M, H, or D))

HELP on unsuspend
SYNTAX: unsuspend [channel] <nick|address>
Unsuspend removes a suspension (same as suspend with a duration 0)

Example:
/msg Z unsuspend #test wabit (This command would cancel any suspensions for
Wabit in the channel #test)

LEVEL 400

HELP on adduser
SYNTAX: adduser [channel] <nick> [mask] <access> [password]
adduser gives the given access to anyone matching mask. nick is only used
as a reference and should be the nickname the person uses to most. If nick
is online, mask is not necessary, and the userhost will be looked up
automatically. If password is supplied, the user must use the pass command
to get validated before being granted any access. If default user flags are
defined (see help set), those flags are used.

Examples:
/msg z adduser #test wabit 100 (Would add wabit to the Z userbase in #test,
with NO password, ie they would have to login to the Z, and then add a
password before being able to issue Z with any commands. Note, for this
method to work, the person needs to be online.)
/msg Z adduser #test wabit *!*smokey@*.camtech.net.au 100 (Would add wabit
to the Z database in the channel, with the specified hostmask with access
100. Again, with no password.)

HELP on clearmode
SYNTAX: clearmode [channel]
clearmode clears all the channel modes. This is useful when your channel is
locked so you can't even join the channel.

Example:
/msg Z clearmode #test (This would clear ALL channel modes for channel
#test.)

HELP on modinfo
SYNTAX: modinfo [channel] <field> <nick|address> <new value>
modinfo is used to modify an entry in the userlist. field can be either of
the followings: MATCH, ACCESS, AUTOOP, REMPASS. new value must be ON or OFF
for field AUTOOP, or other valid values for the other fields (REMPASS takes
no arguments).

Examples:
/msg z modinfo #test match wabit *!*dope@*.camtech.net.au (This would
modify the Z record of 'wabit' to the hostmask above, this is useful if a
person changes their provider, and saves removing the person, and re-adding
them. Also has the good use of saving the person's password.)
/msg Z modinfo #test access wabit 400 (This command modifies a person's Z
access in a channel. Again it does this whilst preserving their password
and all other details.)
/msg Z modinfo #test autoop wabit on/off (Turns Z autooping on or off, as
indicated. Note the person needs to be authenticated to Z before joining
the channel for this to affect as they join the channel. If they
authenticate whilst in the channel. Z will op them though.)
/msg Z modinfo #test rempass wabit (This command would remove the password
of wabit's in #test)

HELP on remuser
SYNTAX: remuser [channel] <nick|address>
remuser removes the access of the given user.

Example:
/msg Z remuser #test Wabit (-Z- I REMOVE USER WaBiT
(*!*smokey@*.camtech.net.au) from #test)

LEVEL 450

HELP on addchan
SYNTAX: addchan [channel]
addchan adds a channel to Z's auto-join list.

Example:
/msg Z addchan #test (-Z- Channel defaults set. - Adds the defaults (as the
modes are currently set in the channel) as the defaults that Z will set if
Z ever rejoins the channel (this does include the modes set with Z under
the SET command, ie, NOOP))

HELP on join
SYNTAX: join <channel>
join is used to make Z join channel. Obviously, one must have access on
that channel in order to do that.

Example:
/msg Z join #test (This would get Z to join your channel once again -
(sometimes, when Z unexpectedly quits, and the 'addchan' command hasn't
been used... Z doesn't know to rejoin the channel.... This command remedies
that situation.)

HELP on remchan
SYNTAX: remchan [channel]
remchan removes a channel from Z's auto-join list. The userlist for that
channel remains unchanged.

Example:
/msg Z remchan #test (This would remove #test from Z's autojoin list, and
if Z unexpectedly quit, he would not automatically rejoin the channel.)

LEVEL 500

HELP on part
SYNTAX: part [channel]
part makes Z leave the current channel (or channel if it is specified).

Example:
/msg Z part #test (This would make Z leave your channel (until someone
asked Z to join again with the /msg Z join #test command) warning asking Z
to leave your channel is considered Z abuse. Your channel could be purged,
and yourself blacklisted for using this command.)

HELP on set

set is used to configure Z's reactions upon different situations.
<variable> is one of the following:
