aline @Chanserv 4-HelpServ-1 Usage: HELP [<command> [<subcommands>]]
aline @Chanserv 4-HelpServ-1 Shows help on the given command. The help documentation is
aline @Chanserv 4-HelpServ-1 set up in a hierarchical fashion. That means that certain
aline @Chanserv 4-HelpServ-1 help topics have sub-topics under them. For example, doing
aline @Chanserv 4-HelpServ-1 HELP ADMIN
aline @Chanserv 4-HelpServ-1 gives help on the admin command, while:
aline @Chanserv 4-HelpServ-1 HELP SET
aline @Chanserv 4-HelpServ-1 gives help on the set command and also displays a list of
aline @Chanserv 4-HelpServ-1 sub-topics for SET. If you are using a help service, like
aline @Chanserv 4-HelpServ-1 help_US or help_AU, then to get help on the subtopics, you would do:
aline @Chanserv 4-HelpServ-1 HELP SET <subtopic>
aline @Chanserv 4-HelpServ-1 where <subtopic> is one of the subtopics. If you are using the
aline @Chanserv 4-HelpServ-1 built in help, then you need only type the subtopic name. The
aline @Chanserv 4-HelpServ-1 input prompt will indicate what help level you are on. Hitting
aline @Chanserv 4-HelpServ-1 return will move you up one level.
aline @Chanserv 4-HelpServ-1 At any time, you can specify a ? to get a list of subtopics
aline @Chanserv 4-HelpServ-1 without the associated help file, for example:
aline @Chanserv 4-HelpServ-1 HELP ?
aline @Chanserv 4-HelpServ-1 gives a list of all main help topics. The following:
aline @Chanserv 4-HelpServ-1 HELP BIND ?
aline @Chanserv 4-HelpServ-1 gives the list of all BIND subtopics. If you use a ? with
aline @Chanserv 4-HelpServ-1 a topic that has no subtopics, you will simply get the
aline @Chanserv 4-HelpServ-1 standard help file for that topic.
aline @Chanserv 4-HelpServ-1 Note:
aline @Chanserv 4-HelpServ-1 Case is unimportant even when viewing the lower case
aline @Chanserv 4-HelpServ-1 filenames such as 'newuser' or 'intro'.
