# IDENTIFICATION TUTORIAL #
###########################

With the version 4 of my toolz, identification system has been added. Before to use chan's
commands, you must type:

/msg name_of_bot ident <password>

or

/msg name_of_bot id <password>

If you have a recognized user@hostname the bot will identify you, and now you can use chan's
command.

If you are a owner you can disable or enable chan's commands for an user:

partyline:
   .enable <hand>
   .disable <hand>
msg:
   enable <password> <nick|hand> [chan]
   disable <password> <nick|hand> [chan]
chan:
   !enable <nick>
   !disable <nick>

The identification is kept all the time, the bot can see the user in a chan. When the user
part all the chans, the bot is on, the identification is removed. I have make identification
100% compatible with chantoolz and normally compatible with eggtoolz (concurrent tcl scripts).

If "CLONE=1" all the others that hare recognized as you by the bot AND have the same
IP addresse as the nick that have make the identification are allowed to use chan commands.

Example: your mask is *!darkvador@193.143.*.* and your IP: 193.143.12.23
=> all the people with *!darkvador@193.143.12.23 are recognized like clones of you.

If "CLONE=0" only the last nick identified is autorised to use the commands. Use that for a
maximum security (against IP spoofing for example). In the above line i speak about the
"nick" that have made the identification, i want said the irc user that have made the
identification, because LoL's TooLz autodetect if you change your nick.

The variable SILENT warn an user if he wants to use chan commands without to be identified.
Set SILENT = 1 (no warning) can be good for example is there is more than one bot in the chan
with my script, and too to limit help queue of bot. But at the beginning is good to put
SILENT = 0 because without that the users will not understand why the chan's commands don't
work.

(You can now remove manually the identification using !unident, .unident...)

Still one important thing !!!

ident <password>

and

ident <password> <handle>

ARE NOT THE SAME COMMANDS !!!
The first is a LoL TooLz commands to enable chan commands.
The second is an eggdrop commands to add an host when you have changed provider or anything
else...

Example:
You have changed provider and you come back in IRC:
ident <password> <hand (original nick)> (to add your new address)
ident <password> (to enable chan commands)

Hope this has help you.
